Role - Camera Operator

Sustainable forestry is helping the country electrify, cutting down on firewood use-and providing livelihoods.

I had the pleasure of joining James Thompson and Melt Films out in Uganda to document the changing landscape of the country and its drive for sustainably managed forest.

Working mainly with the Sony FS5 on the Ronin MX gimbal I wanted to capture a sense of the countries movement. The sea of change which is beginning in Uganda. The film was supported by WWF which helped immensely to get us access and was then picked up by Nat Geo for their short film showcase.

Below you can see some of my favorite memories from our time in Uganda.

My goal is to deliver the best creative imagery and video content possible. Based in the Highlands of Scotland photography, film and image making have been a large part of my life for the last 15 years. It gives me a reason to travel, a opportunity for adventure and way of cataloging life as it passes us by.
